An idea rose in my mind, to take a trip. To “Haru”
Every direction of the compass has a season,
and when looked upon from Heijokyo palace, the eastern region of Nara city is located as the springtime.
This trip does not have a special purpose, nor do I have something specific in mind to start off with either.
But the phrase “the direction of springtime in Nara” inspired me to feel that I could find something there.
Moving through the mountains, feeling the forest, as I make my way to “Haru”
Looking down on the earth, looking up in the sky, looking for my own sensationak “Haru”
Spotting lights, discovering fields, meeting the people of “Haru”
All that exists within an hour away from Nara city.
Words cannot describe the joy to have such “Haru”, a timeless springtime in our lives.

旅をしてみようとおもった。はるへ。
方角には季節があり、
平城京からみたとき、奈良市の東部地域は
春の位置となる。
この旅は、何か特別な目的があるわけでもなく、
目当てのものが最初からあるわけではない。
ただ、「奈良の春の方角」と聞くと、
そこで何かを感じることができるかもしれないと思った。
山を抜け、森を感じ、はるを目指す。
地面をみて、空を見上げ、心が動くはるをさがす。
灯りが見え、畑があり、はるのひとに出会う。
それが奈良市から一時間かからない場所にある。
人生に、そんなはるがあるのは、嬉しいことだ。
ならのはるへ。

In the cosmological explanations of ancient times, it was said that within each of the cardinal directions there is a season. In the east, there is spring.
When you looked out on the eastern region of Nara City from Heijo-kyo, the ancient name for Nara, you would see the direction of spring.
For this reason, the eastern region of Nara to this day uses the slogan “Nara’s Spring” in its public relations activities.
日本各地に登録されている世界遺産ですが、奈良県にその中の3つが登録されています。 3つも世界遺産が登録されている県ですので、、非常に歴史的な街並み、世界からの観光地としての魅力が高い街が奈良県なのです。 そもそも世界遺産とは、ユネスコが世界遺産条約に基づいて選択された遺産が世界遺産リストに載り、その遺産を持つ国はその遺産に対して今後も無くすことのないように保全・管理をしていくことの義務が発生します。 そのような責任と共に、今後もその遺産を世界に魅せ続けていくことができる魅力がありますので、3つも登録されている奈良県の遺産は素晴らしいものなのでしょう。 ここからは、そんな奈良県が持っている3つの世界遺産についてご紹介していきたいと思います。
